The Beginning
In 1995, Michael Pierce moved to the Green Bay area and jumped straight into the roofing and general contracting trade. He spent years learning every aspect of the business — working on crews, running jobs, and building the kind of hands-on experience that you can't get from a textbook.
When his first child was on the way, Michael made a decision. At 23 years old, he went out on his own. Not because it was the easy path — working for someone else would have been less stress and less risk. He did it because he wanted to build something for his family.
That decision became Pierce Roofing.
Building a Legacy
Nearly three decades later, Pierce Roofing is still family-owned and operated. Michael is a father of five, grandfather of three, and the same hands-on roofer he was on day one.
He still oversees every project personally — from the initial inspection to the final walkthrough. His standard hasn't changed: we do good work and we don't stop until it's done.

Giving Back
Michael's commitment to this community goes beyond roofing. He volunteers with the Green Bay Action Sports Organization (GBASO), where he serves on the board and mentors young athletes through action sports and winter sports programs.
He shows up for these kids the same way he shows up for his customers — with time, attention, and genuine care. Giving back isn't something the Pierce family does on the side. It's woven into who they are.
Michael brings something personal to that work. After losing his leg, he didn't step back from the sport or the community — he stepped forward. At GBASO, where the whole mission is teaching kids to face challenges head-on and build resilience through action sports, Michael's presence says more than any speech could. He shows up, and he shows these young athletes that adversity doesn't have to define what you're capable of.
